DAY OF ACTION – SHOW YOUR STRIPES | 20 June 2026
Show Your Stripes Day is a global campaign held annually in June, that uses climate stripes to visually communicate rising temperatures and the importance of climate science.
This year, IUCA invites all universities to join the campaign through a coordinated day of action on 20 June, sharing social media posts and hosting activities focused on the importance of climate science.
By acting together, we aim to amplify the visibility of climate science, promote evidence-based information, and reinforce the urgency of climate action through a collective global voice.
Here is the Public ‘Show Your Stripes’ Toolkit, which provides information, suggested messaging, and guidance on how we can make an impact together. We encourage you to share the toolkit with your communications team.
We would be delighted for your institution to take part and help demonstrate the collective strength of universities in supporting trusted climate communication.
