Description: The evidence foundation for the week: what the science does and does not tell policymakers, pitched for decision-making rather than specialism. On food and agriculture — the hardest sector to abate — we contrast government as regulator setting production and supply-chain standards with government as funder paying landholders to change practice or avoid deforestation (Costa Rica; Brazil).
