National University of Singapore wins inaugural Global Climate Research Prize

A huge IUCA congratulations to The National University of Singapore (NUS) for winning the inaugural Global Climate Research Prize Assistant Professor Xiaogang He was recognised for research on capturing and reusing floodwater to improve drought resilience and water security.

His work focuses on managing extreme water events by storing excess floodwater for later use, helping strengthen groundwater systems and support regions facing climate-driven floods and droughts.
