The WCRP Academy is the research training advisory and coordination arm of the World Climate Research Programme. The Academy is a professional and capacity development platform, which connects high quality training providers and users, specifically climate scientists, via a catalogue. The Academy invites all research and expert groups, academic and research institutions, government agencies and non-government organizations who provide climate science training and education to register as a training provider and contribute to the online training catalogue.

Air pollution dramatically reduces pollination because it degrades the scent of flowers, affecting bees’ ability to find them, a study has found. A research team including the University of Reading found that ozone substantially changes the size and scent of floral odour plumes. It reduced honeybees' ability to recognise odours by up to 90% from just a few metres away.
