Facilitated by the Secretariat, an online COP 28 planning discussion for representatives of IUCA member universities, provided an opportunity to connect, share knowledge and learning as well as coordinate and collaborate.

Meeting #1 | 14 September 2023

Fifteen member universities from 9 countries across 6 regions of the globe discussed their COP 28 plans, shared insights and explored how universities as global thought leaders can work together to empower leaders both present and future to respond to the facts and accelerate action on climate.

Seven member universities from 4 countries across 4 global regions, provided updates on their COP28 plans and discussed how to collaborate, coordinate and share knowledge in the lead up to and during COP28.

Meeting #3 | 16 November 2023

The final meeting in the Series took place prior to COP28, providing an opportunity for members to discuss their finalised plans.
