People and ecosystems in Australia, New Zealand and over 25,000 islands in the Pacific face an existential threat from the impacts of climate change.
The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP27) to the United Nations is a crucial climate event. It is the ‘implementation COP’ where countries must strengthen commitments to reduce emissions this decade and lock in additional support for adaptation.
At last year’s COP26 in Glasgow, all countries agreed to bring stronger commitments to COP27 in Egypt this November. So this COP is critical as the key means to keep countries moving forward to align their commitments with a 1.5°C future.
Our diverse network of 2400+ trained Climate Reality Leaders are asking for strong climate action on the road to and at COP27. We ask you to join us!
